KNex Challenge Day

Foxes and Adders challenged their brains in a different way today, taking part in the 'Go Construct K’Nex Day'.  John Parnham, retired Suffolk engineer, launched the challenge as part of an STEM workshop, giving the children an introduction to the exciting world of engineering by using K’Nex to find a solution to a problem. The children worked in pairs to design and make a bulldozer which had to meet certain criteria. They were assessed on their ability to work together and solve problems, aswell as their completed model. All children had to communicate their ideas to each other and to the judge before certificates were awarded and medals given out to the winning team.

Bentley School's Christian Ethos

"Know that I am with you always," Matthew 28:20 We encourage the spiritual, social, moral and cultural development of the school family by embedding Christian values into everyday life. Our vision is for all children to be confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens who are well equipped for future life, knowing that God is with them always.
