Copdock School Council

Our School Council at Copdock is made up of representatives from each year group who have been elected onto the School Council by the children following successful voting campaigns each September.

The older children in Foxes Class take on the role of Chair, Deputy Chair and Secretary.  We run the weekly assembly, where children get the opportunioty to raise importance issues within school. We also help each class organise an enterprise event for our Christmas Fayre every year as well as run stalls such as Sweets in a Jar, Tombolas and Guess the Name of the Teddy Bear.  We spend money raised on trips in the summer and equipment for the school.

We also organise all of the charity fundraising events throughout the year and make decisions on behalf of the other children, for example, Children In Need, Comic Relief and other charity events.

We run a snack shop every breaktime where children can purchase snacks such as breadsticks, rice cakes and cheese straws.  This is very popular.
