Information to Share

Fayre Flyer Design - pupils are being sent home today with a template for a design for the Summer Fayre poster.  Can your child please complete and return to school by next Friday.  One child's design will be chosen as the winner and distributed.

Stay & Play - stay and play will resume next Tuesday for Foundation parents.  Please ensure you sign-in on the sheet in class when in school.

Chance to Shine - a coach from Chance to Shine Cricket will be coming into school on Wednesday 1st May to coach all of the children throughout the day.  Can parents please ensure your child is sent into school in their PE kit.

Parking - whilst we understand that it can be difficult to find a space to park sometimes, especially when the weather is poor and everyone decides to drive, but please do consider where and how you park.  Please see the attached poster that we have been asked to share with our school community.

Medicines - if you have any medication in school for your child, other than inhalers and epi-pens, that you did not take home over the holidays to ensure was still in date and still needed in school, could you please collect it from the office as soon as possible.  We should only hold the medication that is needed currently.  All medication should go home over the holidays and only that which needs to be kept at school should be returned to the office when the term restarts.  Medicines should never be sent in or home via the children.  If you are unsure if you have sent medication in, please do ask so that we can ensure it is returned.

SATs Breakfasts - as Foxes families know, SATs are only a few weeks away now.  Attendance during this week is paramount.  In order to start the day calmly and together, we invite Foxes children to come in from 8:20am to share a breakfast together before the school day starts.  A couple of Foxes parents have kindly organised the breakfasts and will be serving them to the children, in return for a contribution of £3 (cash only please) each to be made in a named envelope to the school office for administration please.  Please can all monies be handed in by Friday 3rd May to allow time for budgeting and shopping to be considered.

Every week we encourage parents to support their children to learn and use new vocabulary.  In school we will be exploring the origin of new words, what they mean and how to use them effectively in context.  If you can encourage your child to use these words it would be really helpful!
