Hedgehogs - Monday 20th April

Date: 19th Apr 2020 @ 2:26pm

Welcome back Hedgehogs! smiley

I hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday! Hopefully you were able to enjoy the sunshine and got up to amazing things. It was super talking to so many of you before the holiday. For those of you I didn’t manage to speak to, I hope you are well and received the messages I left. I will be calling you all again in the next two weeks and I can‘t wait to hear what you have been doing!

I hope Faith, Charlotte and Laura all had wonderful birthdays in the holiday. Next time we talk, you will have to tell me how you celebrated!

You have hopefully all received your learning pack for the next 3 weeks. Each Monday I will attach the overview for that week so you can access all the hyperlinks to websites/resources. You will also be able to check daily for answers to the tasks you have been set.

Do remember to keep in touch via our Hedgehog’s class discussion. There is also a weekly discussion where you can upload your work, share ideas and ask for help. There have been a few issues with the website recently but these have hopefully now been resolved. Do let us know if you are concerned with anything however.

Our topic for this week is Florence Nightingale. You may have heard about the Nightingale hospitals that have been, and are being built, around the country. Florence Nightingale is an important figure in British history and we are going to spend the week learning about her and why she is so famous.
